ASTON UNIVERSITY AND ITI are holding a free event for linguists interested in Starting Work as a Translator or Interpreter
Saturday 14th March 2015, 10am-4:30pm
This one-day event should answer questions on:
- the qualities and skills you need to work as a translator or interpreter
- how to get organised – and where to find help
- breaking through the ‘no experience = no work’ barrier
- pricing and financial aspects of being a translator or interpreter.
There will be a question-and-answer session and time for networking.

Coffee, tea and biscuits will be served in the refreshment breaks. Please bring your own lunch, which you can take to the networking area set aside for this. Alternatively, there are many cafes and fast food outlets in close vicinity to the campus.
